VetCPD are delighted to announce that our inaugural Congress event was a resounding success. We welcomed over 19 exhibitors and over 350 delegates on 21-22nd September to Bath’s Assembly Rooms, all of whom were extremely pleased with the event. Both the speaker programmes, one of which was exclusively for Vets and the other for Vet nurses, were packed with relevant and interesting CPD topics. This, and the wonderful setting, made the two days highly enjoyable, as our event video will testify.
Attendees commented on the friendly atmosphere of the gathering and were delighted with both the unique character and impressive surroundings of Bath’s beautiful Assembly Rooms. Nicky Bromhall, an attendee, stated that she had ‘never sat under such beautiful chandeliers while listening to lectures.’ Many attendees also spoke very favourably about the facilities and refreshments on offer. The Vet and Vet nurse lecture series were well attended and feedback has been very positive from delegates who attended the lectures. They have praised the speakers’ expertise in their subject areas and interactive presentations, which enabled delegates to take useful and practical CPD knowledge away with them, as well as helpful advice for them to put into practice in their daily working lives.
Many of the attendees also commented on the useful networking opportunity that the event provided, with the chance to meet fellow Professionals within the Veterinary industry, as well as view some of the different Veterinary services that were exhibited there. This networking opportunity extended beyond the event, as we organised a delicious dinner with entertainment at a local restaurant on Thursday evening which was very well attended by delegates and exhibitioners alike.
Following the great success of our 2017 event, we are already planning and preparing for next year’s Congress, which will feature an extended lecture programme and space for more exhibitors. Join us in the historic Bath Assembly Rooms for our 2018 Congress on the 20th and 21st September for more cutting-edge CPD. Famous for The Roman Baths, Jane Austen and beautiful Georgian architecture, Bath is the only destination in the UK to have the whole city designated a World Heritage site by UNESCO. So our Congress not only provides excellent CPD, but Bath also offers a unique backdrop with great shops, restaurants and the UK’s only natural hot water spa! We look forward to seeing you at next year’s Congress. For information and to book please visit http://vetcpdcongress.co.uk
