Duncan graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1991 and gained his RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Orthopaedics in 1995. Since 1997 he has been a staff orthopaedic surgeon at a private referral practice. His interests include the clinical application for locking plates and treatments for cruciate ligament disease.
