VetCPD Congress was established last year by VetCPD to provide an extensive series of world-class CPD lectures aimed at small animal vets and vet nurses and hosted in the World Heritage city of Bath.
This year’s event already has 27 exhibitors and over 340 unique delegates attending and will be covering a diverse and varied programme of lectures. It offers delegates more than 14 hours of CPD training over the two days under the one roof. This includes lectures and discussion forums offering the most up-to-date CPD on ECC veterinary medicine.
Lecture highlights:
The nursing programme sees highly-respected RVNs Denise Prisk and Louise O’Dwyer taking to the stage and speaking at this year’s event.
Denise Prisk, DipAVN Surgical VTS Anaesthesia Analgesia LTCL LCGI RVN, will be speaking about ‘Anaesthetic emergencies’ and ‘Anaesthesia of the geriatric patient’.
Also, Louise O’Dwyer, MBA BSc (Hons) VTS (Anaesthesia & Analgesia & ECC) Dip AVN (Medical & Surgical) RVN, will be speaking about ‘Dealing with difficult wounds’ and ‘Canine blood transfusion medicine’.
Meanwhile, Ian Wright, BVMS BSc MSc MRCVS, – will be among the first-rate speakers taking part in this year’s veterinary programme, speaking about ‘Flea resistance’ and ‘Fantastic Ticks and where to find them’ at this leading veterinary Congress.
