The Vet CPD Journal, now in its sixth year of publication, is a peer reviewed, quarterly, small animal journal, designed to turn Veterinary professional’s CPD reading into Documented CPD hours. Each article in the journal is accompanied by an online exam, which will turn ‘ad hoc’ undocumented reading into Documented CPD, complete with a certificate which counts towards a veterinary professional’s annual CPD hours!
Our next issue will be out in March 2019, and there are some great opportunities for advertisers to sit alongside some cutting- edge educational CPD articles aimed at first opinion vets.
A key article this March will be Dr Evelyn Maniaki’s, exploring the causes and effects of proteinuria in cats and the key ways of managing chronic kidney disease. It will explore the treatment and management of this condition using drugs such as an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor e.g. benazepril or an angiotensin receptor blocker e.g. telmisartan. Systemic hypertension will also be discussed and how this condition can be treated alongside other considerations e.g. dietary therapy and how feeding of renal diets can also play a part in the management of kidney disease in cats. You can see a preview snippet of the article here:
