As the only charity in Great Britain to represent the welfare of animals undergoing training and behaviour therapy, ABTC continues to grow.
Now in its seventh year it represents more trainers and behaviourists than any other organisation and is the only organisation that actively regulates them from an independent standpoint. Regulation includes activities beyond meeting the stringent training and education required of the roles that individuals carry out, it also includes ethical advertising and operating to a comprehensive code of conduct. Professional organisations that represent practitioners in the training and behaviour sector are thoroughly assessed before being permitted to display the coveted ABTC logo indicating that they reach the level of quality management required to be truly regarded as professional.
Registers of individuals that meet the required standard can be viewed at www.abtcouncil.org.uk/index/abtc-members-by-region.html
