VetCPD online courses are comprised of webinars, thorough course notes, case studies, and an active forum. The courses are unique as each is run by an attentive tutor who will answer questions or comments on the forum. Each course is worth 8 hours CPD and is only £119 + VAT. All courses run for three weeks with the tutor, beginning on 8th January and ending on the 28th January. After this time, the tutor will no longer be active, but the content and MCQ exam will still be accessible, so you can finish it off over the next month. Anaesthetic Monitoring with Denise Prisk
Monitoring anaesthetised patients is one of the most crucial aspects of a Veterinary Nurse’s role. This course will explore: pre–anaesthetic procedures, basic monitoring, pulse oximetry, arterial blood pressure (invasive and non-invasive), electro cardiology, capnography, central venous pressure and recovery.
Recent participant, Rob Peace Head RVN, said about this course: “It’s a brilliant course that not only touches up the basics but breathes that excitement back into your daily job that is easily forgotten. The positive messages from the tutor were great motivation. I found this course very informative and enjoyable (particularly the case studies). As a student beginning their training this course was a fantastic basis to begin diving further into the veterinary nurse world. Denise was very supportive and engaging which really helped, especially when you were unsure of something. Highly recommend to anyone looking to refresh or begin their anaesthetic knowledge!”
